This amazing coating keeps windows and other glass and ceramic surfaces, clean, streak free and protected from the elements. Our polymer coating is a super hydrophobic coating which has natural self cleaning properties, resists and repels algae, fungi, bird lime, fly dirt and also reduces dust from static build up. It was originally developed for the marine industry to keep shipping windscreens and glass clean on many a treacherous voyage.
Our self clean glass coating has been tried, tested and proven over the last 15 years. More Recently Elpiem Ltd were the preferred contractor for Rain Racer Developments to apply the self clean glass coating to over 350m2 of laminated glass at Europe’s largest inner city shopping centre, Westfield in Shepherds Bush, London.

Our 8 Stage Application Process for Windows and Conservatories.
1. Wash frames and remove all traces of paint spots and sealants etcfrom glass. Treat glass with GPC and then wash with Marine Grade Burnishing Gel using non abrasive cloths.
2. Rinse thoroughly to remove all residues and test glass to ensure it has achieved optimum bonding capacity. Repeat if necessary.
3. Dry frames and glass thoroughly.
4. Apply hydrophobic coating and leave to dry for about 15 minutes.
5. Apply a second coat of rain racer and leave to dry for a further 15 minutes.
6. Leave hydrophobic coating to dry to a haze then agitate the coating using a soft brush and rinse thoroughly.
7. Quality control test with smooth water flow to ensure 100% satisfaction. (If coating has failed repeat steps 1 - 6)
8. Dry and Polish frames to finish.
For perfect clarity and vision a wash and polish with anti smear cleaner of all internal glass is also offered and recommended.
